Directus has a focus very similar to WordPress and other non-profit CMS sites, which is to democratize the ability to gather data. They have a fully remote and international team that works on the CMS around the clock to continue improving upon it. Those that are hired by Directus are usually a contributor to the CMS, implying that they’re already familiar with the codebase, given that it’s open-source.

Requirements

Directus 9, a more recent version of the CMS software with listed out system requirements, requires the user to have more recent versions of 9 specific operating systems, including Windows 10+, Oracle Linux 8, MacOS Catalina+, Centos 8, and a couple more. In addition, they support a few SQL servers with their software, such as MySQL 5.7.8+, SQLite 3+, MS-SQL 13+, and a few more, and they also have some cloud infrastructure support, with Aurora and RedShift (Amazon Cloud), as well as SQL-MI from MS Azure.
