With NWTC being a technical college, there are plenty of science, technology, engineering, and math programs (STEM) available for students to take. Many credits taken with the STEM courses at NWTC can be transferred to four-year universities, allowing you to get your earlier credits at a significantly cheaper price compared to a full four-year experience at a university.
