While their about page doesn’t delve deep into their history, Optimizely focuses on helping companies create their content and their lifecycle. They’ve helped popular businesses such as H&M, PayPal, Zoom, Toyota, and over 10,000 other businesses. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

While there are requirements needed to run Optimizely, they are gated behind a consultation \/ sign-up to a specific service, that being their content management system service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hosted \/ Self-Hosted<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Kind of a similar story here, I couldn’t find much of whether Optimizely allows self-hosting, or if it’s strictly a plan based service. Based on the fact that I couldn’t really progress without getting a quote, I get the impression that they only host the service, and don’t allow for self-hosting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Price<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
Again, I couldn’t find a price point with Optimizely, as I need to fulfill a quote to be able to get a price range.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Doing some external research, I found that Optimizely is used by over 55,000 companies, most of which are smaller businesses, and specialize in finances.
